Device-specific instructions

Set BetBlocker DNS on Your Home Router

Setting BetBlocker DNS on your home router makes all devices on your network (phones, laptops, tablets, consoles, smart TVs, etc.) use the block automatically.

BetBlocker DNS (IPv4): Primary DNS: 176.126.240.124
1. Connect to your home Wi-Fi

Make sure the device you are using (phone, tablet, or laptop) is connected to your home Wi-Fi and not using mobile data.

2. Open the router settings page

Open a web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.) and type one of these addresses in the address bar:

If one doesn’t work, try the next one. You should see a router login page.

3. Log in to the router

Enter the username and password for your router. If you do not know them, they are often printed on a label on the router (or provided by your internet provider).

4. Find the DNS settings

Look for DNS settings under one of these sections (names vary by router):

  • Internet / WAN / Broadband
  • Network / Advanced
  • LAN settings or IPv4 settings

You are looking for options called DNS server, Primary DNS, Secondary DNS, or Manual DNS.

5. Enter the BetBlocker DNS

Set the DNS values to:

  • Primary DNS: 176.126.240.124
  • Secondary DNS: you can leave this blank, or repeat 176.126.240.124

If there is an option like “Use ISP DNS automatically”, turn it off or select Manual.

6. Save and restart

Click Save, Apply or OK. Your router may restart automatically. If not, turn it off and back on again to make sure all devices pick up the new DNS.

7. Test that BetBlocker DNS is working

On a phone or laptop connected to the same Wi-Fi, open our DNS check page:

Open the BetBlocker DNS test page

If the test confirms the block, your router is now using BetBlocker DNS.

If you cannot find DNS settings

Some internet providers lock or hide DNS options on their routers. In that case, you may:

  • Search the model number of your router plus “change DNS”.
  • Ask your provider if DNS can be changed.
  • Use your ISP router in modem/bridge mode and connect your own router (TP-Link, ASUS, etc.) where you can set BetBlocker DNS.

Android – Private DNS (DoT)

  1. Settings → Network & Internet
  2. Advanced → Private DNS
  3. Choose: Private DNS provider hostname
  4. Enter: manual.betblocker.org
  5. Save

Then open the DNS test page to make sure it’s working.
